I think it's great that you are taking your responsibility seriously and want to make an informed decision. I wish all registered voters would do so.
You can find out on the Internet about where the candidates stand on certain issues. You need to decide which issues you feel are important and then do the research. As the election gets closer and the candidates dwindle down, you'll be able to find more information.
You should contact your local election board for help in finding out more about the candidates.

Yes. Do your homework. Find out for yourself, because everyone will try to shove their opinion down your throat. You are wise not to trust TV. They are very biased. Don't vote just because someone is a democrat, republician, woman or black. Personally, I would vote for Rudy if he runs. I admired the way he cleaned up New York, and how he handled New York after 911. Hillary scares me to death. I wasn't fond of her husband, and I don't think we need her in the white house. But, you do your homework and form your own opinions and choices, and love the fact that we live in the greatest country on the face of this earth, where we still have free choice and our vote counts! Have fun with it.

Guiliani all the way. Rudy Guiliani:
-Cleaned up New york
-Provided leadership after 9/11
-Prosecuted the mob
You are right about Hillary Clinton. If we elect her, another clinton would make a joke out of the whitehouse.

As a woman I hope that you really research Hillary Clinton. As far a women's rights and health care go she is the best candidate out there. The problem is no one candidate is going to satisfy everything that you believe. You need to pick your battles and see which one fits best. I like Hillary for her views on health care, women's right, and the environment.
Good luck.

the in hardship-free words solid vote is a properly counseled vote. once you've put in the time to do your homework, then you absolutely have made a stunning good vote. via homework I mean, worked as a volunteer at both (all) marketing campaign HQs on your area. flow, volunteer to artwork for Obama, Knock on doorways, verify with people, see what their concerns are, study the reality about what Dems decide on for u . s . a .. Then do a similar for McCain marketing campaign HQ on your area. Then any others that ought to have marketing campaign HQs on your area. tell all of them you're reality searching and decide to study all you may about the position they stand via having fascinated with elections. in case you vote depending in hardship-free words on what you've considered or heard, (with out having in touch) you have not finished your homework. in case you in hardship-free words vote for one part because you're fearful of what ought to take position with the different part, you've grow to be an enemy to our u . s . a . and should be deported. Being an counseled voter is a duty you ought to take very heavily. in case you vote for someone with out understanding all the data, you're in essence committing an act of Terrorism compared u . s . a .. the authentic difficulty this u . s . a . needs to address is the apathy and absence of awareness of the balloting public, not the commercial gadget, not racial subject matters, not any of the airborne dirt and mud both part slings at one yet another. it really is the shown reality that, "the basics of our Apathy are sturdy",is what's hurting our u . s . a .. bear in ideas, our u . s . a . is in worry, and in hardship-free words an counseled vote is proper.
