I live in Edmonton and the great thing is ... there is no [insert ethnic background] neighbourhood.

There are people of every ethnic background in this supposed redneck city but the black communitee you seek is very dispersed. Castledowns is very Muslim/Arabic and Millwoods is definately Pakistani/East Indian but no self-segregated communitees like Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver.

Actually I believe there is a good number of black people in Edmonton - I know there are lots of Bajans there, both black and white.
I would contact the Chamber of Commerce and ask them - they should have access to the demographics on the city.
