Does it really suck or did it always suck and we were just to young to realize? My parents hated MTV when I was a kid and I just figured they were dorks. Now I hate it but somebody must be watching, right?

At least I can See well known acts, not teenagers who want their 15 minutes of fame,

MTV sucks! VH1 was okay until they started doing the same thing as MTV, showing to many TV shows than music videos.
The best was to see videos now is to have extended cable and watch VH1 Rocks or something like that.
MTV used to be great back in the 80's early 90's. VH1 used to be great until 2002. When the surreal life and celebrity fitness came on. And Breaking Bonaduce.
There is nothing music about it now.

I remember when MTV started. It was a fresh cool idea with a lot of concert footage. It had a lot of good classic rock. Once the started shifting toward rap, it just became garbage.

MTV ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! My biggest problem nowadays is they don't play the music videos like they did back in the day. Hell you're lucky to see a music video 1 out of 20 times you turn on MTV.

In the beginning, MTV was pretty good, of course that was before it was turned into a B.S. station with, the Real World, Road Rules, and that awful crap they call Rap....

MTV is so lame! I agree. It's just some more stuff for people that are obsessed with mainstream music.

I watched the videos when it first came on. This reality show phase has almost done away with videos. It used to be good but it's quietly sinking into the abyss.

No it used to be good. When rap crap came about it went down fast. VH1 is a far better channel VH1 Classics is even better.

mtv is ok but would it kill you to show the whole video and if you do dont put those stupid shout-outs practically covering half the screen!!

All of the "reality" shows are SOOO fake!!!!
But, I do enjoy watching Exposed sometimes.
I like to see the interesting lies people can think of off of the top of their head!!! LOL...
