We usually get a couple of cases and people bring their own. It's nice to have some to offer if someone doesn't bring any.
The big thing is the game and beer. Everything else is extra. Relax, order some pizzas & wings and everyone will have a great time!

At my superbowl party im having a tray of boneless buffalo wingsa, a 6 ft wedge a tray of chicken scarprella, soda, chips mixed nut. Usually everyone brings some beer, as long as it dont get out of hand. we also start early and watch football movies like the program and play cards.

Its cool to buy one 6-pack and they should bring there own beer.Make sure you Chips, Dip/Salsa, Food tray, Barbecue, Peanuts, Shrimp tray, pretzals, Paper plates, Plastic cups, napkins, plastic forks/spoons/knives,etc.Lots of Decorations. An Ice Chest, Dont 4get soda and maybe some water

I have had several SB parties. It has always been BYOB. I have always asked for the guests to provide some sort chips or dip. Nothing major. I order the pizza, provide the big screen T.V., comfy living room and indoor plumbing. My guests don't mind to help out a bit..

no, byob is cool, just provide a 12 pack, you don't want people drunk. Also, pizza. 10 people 3 large. Its better to have a little more than a little less.

If you are supplying the snacks then its fine to have people bring their own beer. I would say a must have is hot wings!
