This is a file from my media stick that I saved off of my samsung digital movie camera.

I looked in properties for the file and it said the file extension is .avi

I tried to play it in Windows media player and it wont play.

I tried it in Quick time and it won't play.

I tried it in Real Player and it said that it needed to download new software to play this file.

Then it searched for a software update and said there was none.
I clickes on details and it said:
"There is no software update available from real to support this content:
Content Type:
ICM.SMP4"

I tried to look up what that is and all I found out is that ICM stands for image compression manager.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks.

Hi. Stands for "Samsung Media Player 4". http://www.moviecodec.com/topics/9193p1.html . Search for a conversion tool. This site is a good starting place. http://www.free-codecs.com/FFDShow_download.htm
