Since I'm not too fond of jewelery, I would find out what you're significant other is into, for instance: is she into music, what's her type, does she like art...who's her favorite artist?...etc.
Personally since I'm a big coffee drinker I like mugs, but not just any mug...a very special that represents me, I was given a mug of Mary Cassatt because I love art, and that was one of the best Hanukkah gift I ever received. I also got a ceramic keepsake jewelery case, and on the cover had a Menorah meticulously painted...that was also so lovely!.
A card that means how much you love her.
A foot message...women love foot message.
Breakfast in Bed.

Does she like Andrea Bocelli, he just came out with his latest CD
Amore` here is a song prefect for valentines...ehjoy it!

Something original and creative... price doesn't matter.

Basically what I'm doing is that I'm giving him a memory box with some stuff I put together for him. I also made him a really nice card with a heartfelt poem that I wrote. I made him a poem book with pictures I have taken as well. : } I'm doing all this stuff because Valentine's is our first anniversary. ♥

Well, I found this great website that has a lot of ideas that people sent in. A lot of great ideas... cheap, creative, sweet. So if you need other ideas, here ya go:

Plan a whole day for the two of you from start to finish.

Take her out for a nice brunch or make breakfast in bed.

Then take her out shopping or to the park or zoo or anything else the two of you like to do together. Have a picnic, fly kites, take a day trip to another city.

That night cook dinner and decorate your place like a cozy romantic restaurant or take her somewhere fancy. End the night cuddled by the fire with a full body massage.

A massage. A pedicure. A manicure. A facial.
If you can't afford a lot, do one of these things I mentioned on your own. Go to the store and buy some massage oil, etc.

A homemade dinner.

Make her a mixed cd of "your songs" or songs that make you think of her.

Make her card instead of buying it.

Buy her a pamper package that may include a bath pillow, body wash, lotion, etc. that smells really nice, a candle, bath salts, etc.

A book of poetry with a page marked with a pretty bookmark that contains a poem that signifies your feelings for her.

Send her two dozen red roses in a beautiful vase. Must send them to her place of work/business one or two days beofre Valentine's Day so she can show them off to her friends/colleagues/employees/customers. Women always love to be able to show the world how much she's valued by her lover/spouse. The more you honor her in public, the more she'll reward you in private. Get the picture?

A kite

TWO DOWN-THUMBS? Why?

"Ideas beyond the usual would be appreciated" is what the man said; and this what a friend of mine is giving her gf - a beautiful red-heart kite.

Some people on here are so humourless. It's sad.

Anything that we can tell came from your heart. usually something homemade, although its chessy we love it when we can see that our man has put in some time, thought and effort into it.
