i have never heard Tatum as a boys name...its cute...i also like Tate for a boy...Tate Jameson would be really nice...but i say follow your gut and go with Tatum James!!!

Ive got a cousin named Tatum, and also a friend of mine has a baby named Tatum... they're both girls... so I think of it as a feminine name. But there is that Tatum Channing kid... I think if you like the name, go for it. Tatum James sounds very good!!

i would not go with Tatum. i feel that when choosing a childs name, pick something that is cute as a baby, normal as a child/teen, and sounds okay with Grandma or Grandpa in front as many years down the road they will most likely earn that title.
also, avoid choosing a name for your child that may induce any kind of teasing in school. tatum could become "tater" "tato" potato head, rat a tat tat. i'm not trying to be mean, but kids will find every opportunity to make up names for others. choose a name that your child will be proud of and happy to have, as well as one that is semi-easy to say, because no one likes having the name that the teachers always pronounce wrong, or cant spell correctly.

I like Tatum, and I like James, but, as far as I knew, Tatum was traditionally a girl's name (like Tatum O'Neil). Tate is a good boy's name, but it doesn't go very well with James...

Not sure about Tatum. I always thought of it as a girls name. James is a great first & middle name. Whatever you decide, have fun!

When I see the name Tatum, I think of the actress Tatum O'Neil so I would say no.

wow i think that tatum is really cute.. now willl james be the last name and is this going to be for a boy or a girl? but over all i think that this name is very cute and it sounds like a professional name..good luck
