Could one put it in some kind of compress and dissolve some bone spurs

Its actually not true. My daughter and I have been doing her school science experiment together for the last two weeks, putting eggs in certain substances. We used coca cola, vinegar and pineapple juice. The only one that DIDN'T dissolve the egg shell was the coke. It just turned the egg shell brown.

Yes coke has some acidic qualities that can deteriorate some things but very weak. What would encourage deterioration is more acid and time to dissolve. What would hinder the process is adding water or any other soluable compound

no, you can't dissolve bone spurs with Coke. How were you planning on putting this compress on the spur? I think you would have to cut yourself open. Don't try that please.
