I like the magazine, but seeing her on every issue makes me not even wanna pick it up. It just puts me off. I mean, what is she trying to prove? It gets old seeing the same person every time...

Oh Betty, I remember you. You got mad at me cause I answered your Fergie-bashing question by pointing out the obvious--that you're just jealous. Welcome to my question darling! LOL

I would love to see Oprah feature a notable person each month on her covers along with her and not just some actor or actress. Not that they are not notable often but she should feature great African Americans (from the past) during Martin Luther Kings Month. Then possibly women and men who fought for women's rights. Or something that teaches us Americans more about the world outside America. Like Oprah's own spin on Life Magazine.
Honestly, Oprah I do enjoy your shows but I sure wish more Americans knew who George Washington Carver was and how he influenced agriculture around the globe. How he gave one of the most remarkable speech's ever about equality. She could possibly feature the museum's that lay hidden on these people. Hey! Guess what? I'm not black!

I think Oprah actually answered this question in one of her mags. She said that she would rather not 'blend in' with all the other magazines that have different celebrities on their covers every month. I don't think it's so much self- promoting. She in millions of living rooms each afternoon. She doesn't need to do that anymore.

I respect her and all that, and it is her magazine, but why not put some other powerful women role models on the cover for a change? I completely agree.

Yes. I think it's pretty narcissistic. If I had a mag I would put other people on the cover not myself.

yall are hilarious!!!!!
hahahahahahahahahahahah!!!!!
GOSH!!!!!
I hurt myself.......
Personally, I would get tired of seeing my own self. I think she is probably going to try to be the woman who face was on the cover of a magazine the most!

DUUUDE, I totally feel you! I mean seriously, how many different poses and outfits can she come up with before she says maybe I should put someone else on the cover? I mean put Gail on the cover or her dog she loves so much!

I think everything Oprah does is annoying.

She made her career with years of shows that were almost nothing but male-bashing.
