I'm guessing never, cos at 5 past one as suggested, the hour hand will be slightly past 1 so the hands will not coincide, same for ten past two etc...
Just a wierd random guess?

Must be to more times they cross. Also earlier answers are not exactly correct, for example it is not at 6.30 when they they cross it is 6.32 and 32.5 seconds as the hour hand moves fractionally round each hour also. Look forward to 10 points - I hope!!

It happens once every hour though not at the same point as that is how long it takes the minute hand to circle the clock.
