I just bought a brand new manucraftered home, and I cant get the dishwasher to work. No water runs through it and it just gets really hot and has a weird burning smell. I messed around with the pipes under the sink, and nothing has worked.

any ideas?

You may have bruned up the motor, the water that runs through the dishwasher keeps the motor cool. The supply line, that services the dishwasher might be turned off (located under the sink) find the valve and turn counterclockwise to open it and allow the water to flow, then try using the dishwasher. Hopefully, the damage to it is not to bad and my work fine. If not you will need to replace it or go back to the contract and the agreement and see if it is covered under your contract.

If its a new home, it should be under warranty. Contact the seller or the manufacturer of the dishwasher. DO NOT try to run it again if you smell something burning.

the water supply probably has been turned off look under sink again and try and find a pipe with a small blue tap thing turn this on if the water pressure is good you will here it turn on good luck.

A brand new home is under warranty. Call the manufacturer you bought the house from and ask them to fix it.

Otherwise, call out the repair guy.
