My best friend recently became engaged to a very rich man. She has become increasingly distant and did not invite me to her reception because she didn't want to make me feel bad because she felt I would not feel comfortable in her new 'circle' of friends (which are all from his circle). Needless to say I am not invited to the wedding. How does one handle this without being broken hearted?

That's hard... I guess there isn't much you can do.
But I must say she can't be much of a friend if she's treating you like this.
I guess all you can do is just move on and try to forget her.

honestly youbr going to be heart broken, a friend of yours is getting married and it's a though she doesn't want you a part of the most important day in her life. In reality, this would damage your friendship. You can tell her how you feel, tell her that even though she's marrying this rich guy, she shouldn't forget those who have been with her friends who has stood by her. Ppl tend not to realize who there hurting while there moving up in life, not because they don't care, but because some honestly don't see their action. But if talking to her, doesn't change her then maybe it's best that you guys move on..,which is sad, but sometimes have to be done.

that's hard.....
but all u really can do is say something to her....
one day when shes old and lonely and her money can';t make her happy anymore she;ll think of u and it will be her that made the mistake.
