check out auto repair shops with the better business bureau
other than that check with relatives, people you work with even auto parts stores.

What kind of repairs are needed? Dealers are going to charge a larger hourly labor rate generally speaking. Call around to a few garages ask their hourly rate, Good advice from others is to call AAA Automobile Service and Better Business Bureau.
