A friend of mine who recently moved. He was in the fire dept and had his picture on the front page of the local paper w/ a whole bunch of bubbles in the background (maybe he was holding a jar of bubble stuff, I don't remember). Anyhoo, his fellow firefighters saw this and started calling him that. It stuck and we've called him that ever since.

Right now when I hear bubbles I think of snow because my 21 month old granddaughter calls snow bubbles.
