I've been so scared for awhile to look for work, as I've quit a lot of jobs and whenever I go to fill out an application, I get so down about my past.
So I imagined my former employers were in one room, and my future employers were in another, and I chose to remove the wall between them. Then I stood before them all and started being very open about my past work habits, conflicts with coworkers/bosses, quitting, etc.
It was really hard.

Then a peace, a very deep peace came over me, and I heard these words...

Do you really think there's anything you can do to limit the universe?

And I realized there wasn't. Whatever creates the universe, is capable of creating anything.

And now I'm so much more at peace when I think of applying for jobs. Applying for them IS life, it ain't about whether I get the job or not.

This question makes no sense. The universe in itself has no limits. The limits are the ones we impose on ourselves.

You can't limit the universe.

You can limit the universe of things that get you down - by ignoring them or not letting them bother you.

You can look at the universe as being open to you and not tied to your past (if you let it be that way).

All of this is up to you.

Limit is similar to the word negative. Neither one of which is in my vocabulary pages.

limit the world, which is earth? umm perhaps, sure. to limit the universe, well not exactly. you can't even see the whole universe, so how will we limit what we don't understand.
