Yikes, you've gotten some very strong answers here! You can expect to get laid, but you'll probably end up disappointed and then mad. Much better, and MUCH more likely to get the desired response is to say, at some point in the morning or early afternoon "Honey, I'd really like to make love with you tonight. Maybe around 10pm?" That way, she can accept the invitation or decline, without feeling too much pressure. You can both be showered and have your teeth brushed and a candle lit and some soft music playing and the bedroom door locked and the dog kicked out of the room. It's not spontaneous to do it this way, agreed, but speaking as a wife, when I've just crawled into bed expecting to read a few pages and fall asleep, when he inches closer and starts being lovely, I have to switch gears and that's very hard for me. But when one of us mentions it earlier in the day, we can both be ready and actually looking forward to it (wouldn't that be nice? A wife who looks forward to sex?). Now, regarding Valentine's Day. It sounds to me like you're both in some stubborn holding pattern about this. If you don't ask then she can pretend she didn't know you wanted it. You can fix this, as early as tomorrow morning/afternoon. Best Wishes

Extra special has nothing to do with Valentines for us... My man gets extra special any day of the week !!
