I mean, one week the item could be regular price and the next week there on sale. But on what day do they put the item on sale?

Usually, sales start on Sunday because its the beginning of a new week. Even though sales start on Sunday, the sale might not show up online until Monday because the person in charge of making the website show the sale might not get around to it until Monday

Just go to thoses websites often -- check it out. They will say what sales are going on. Easy then you dont have to leave the house.
