Just give her the 50

If she is 10 and you have $50 then you want to split the gift into 2 items.

First get her a gift certificate at a store that she will like that is close to where she lives. This way no matter what you get with the other half of the $50 she will still be able to go out and get something she wants.

With the other $25 get her something that fits into her interests. Maybe give her mother a call and ask her what she would like.

Play-do is always cool, a new doll, something that's considered cool. Its probably best to go to Toys R us or something like to Wal-mart even, and take a look around. If you think its cool in the toy section, she will probably to. Or better yet, take her to the store with u, tell her its a shopping spree, she has so much money to use, and she can get what ever she wants, I'm sure she would love it

that's to much money for you to spend! You don't need to buy her love or expensive gifts. Get her a normal gift of $10-$20 and enjoy the day with her.

If you have a spare 50 dollars to spend on a birthday present for your 10-year-old niece, and you have to ask strangers for suggestions on how to do it, then you don't know your niece well enough to spend that kind of money on her. Ask her parents what would be appropriate--one of them must be your sibling.

not bratz. Barbie is good if she's still into dolls.

if not maybe a video game (if she has a video game system).

you could buy her a puppy/dog or kitten/cat if her parents are okay with it (or adopt one from the pound for her). That would be the coolest gift. Or a mouse (or other small rodent)/cage/food/etc

Usually at that age girls are into specific subjects like Barbie, Dora the explorer, or Spongebob. You better find out what she's into first and go with that. But vcr tapes of favorite shows can be good, if she hasn't seen them all already.

If you're willing to. It's your money. Just remember that because she is 10, you probably won't get something worth $50 when your birthday comes along.

Go to the dollar store and get her all kinds of cool stuff. Crafts, and dress up stuff etc. She'll get 50 presents for that kind of cash.
