hello ok this is a problem Ive been at for a few days...its not really a big deal just a big pet peeve of mine so here I go my computer plays videos just fine that are on someones myspace profile however when I get on youtube to play something I get this error

"Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Get the latest flash player. "

I have the latest flash player and the latest java (ive reintsalled both several different times) the other computer I got works just fine so I set the internet explorer setting both to default and the other computer works but not mine ( both computers are windows xp home service pack 2 internet explorer 6) so please help

Any answers are well appreciated

I had a similar problem like yours... I fixed it by going to Adobe's support page (link below) for Flash there is a Flash Uninstall program, download that, close your browser run the uninstall program and restart your browser and go to Adobe's web site and install the Flash player.

I believe you are having the same problem that I had... It was a poorly written sound driver. The sound worked fine for games, cd, mp3's, avi's, mov's everything. Or so I thought. I could guarantee that anytime a video did not play properly it was a flash video. I was frustrated and updated flash a dozen times. I scanned forums after forums and found a suggestion to update my sound drivers. I did and my flash video problems disappeared. Give it a shot.

some flash vids are not compatible with an update that you got from microsoft. it's in the security settings and it's too secure to run the vids.

go to tools in IE and see if the java is turned on or disabled. you could have it installed but not turned on!

well first those website are both bad and you computer is just blocking it.
