What was up with Simon's behavior during and after the last contestant's (Brandy I think) audition? Even after she left the room, he went back out to get her annoyed. Sure it was funny but why do you think Simon was having a little to much fun annoying her? I've never seen him act this way towards a contestant, especially one who had a bad audition!

It wasn't just Simon, Randy went out there too. She was the last contestant and they probably needed to fill a little more airtime so why not fill it with them egging her on and her yelling back at them.

I don't think he's ever annoying, rude, or mean. He just tells the truth to the contestants who deserve it. Without the realization that they're terrible, they may actually keep being a pain to the world.

One of the biggest reasons people watch the first rounds is to see Simon be mean to people. So pretty much it comes down to his job is to get ratings and being mean gets them. So he is just doing his job.

I know how you feel he shouldn't be like the way he is right now.I hope they do something about what he does to hurt people's felling that who was on American Idol for all thoes years Simon tormented them by saying something rude.

lol that was funny i really love simon! hes so honest and the girl was just funny too...lol wasnt she the one who sang like a virgin by Madonna but i dont think he was out to bother her,i think he was going to the bathroom

I thought it was hilarious.es her name was Brandy.He did go out there to get her more annoyed,but why not.The people who get rejected need to get a grip.They know that theres a possibility that their not gonna get picked and they still act like hysterical psychos,no matter how nice the judges are.
