I'm confused. Why disinfectant? Did he eat the cake or some sort of disinfectant? If he ate the cake he will probably just get sick in the stomach and feel bad for a while. If he drank some sort of disinfectant liquid, then you might want to take him to a vet or seek help for him. Be careful not to leave chemicals or cakes in reach of pooches.

Yell at him, then bake a new one. If it was a chocolate cake, you may want to take him to the vet because chocolate can be very dangerous to dogs.

If it was a chocolate cake you had better get him to the vet ASAP. My dog got a hold of a chocolate cake once and she almost died!!!

As much water as you can - make him eat grass and get a set of worming tablets!
Keep a close eye on them till they've poo'ed or sicked the lot out!

Then smack the bleeder on the nose and send it to their bed!!

Take it as a compliment to your cooking, my dog eats cake she loves it and jelly and ice cream and peaches, but worst of all she loves brussel sprouts!

If it is cold outside where you live at, let him be out there for an hour. He/she needs to learn to not take things without permission or barking.lol
