We have almost 4 years together. I've always given him really expensive gifts for special occasions. But I'm on a really tight budget for now, so I want to get him something sweet & that has a special touch to it. Any ideas? No perfume/watch/shoes/guitar/car parts. LOL I've given him all of that already.
(I like the rings that say "true love waits" but it doesnt really apply:/)

Basically what I'm doing is that I'm giving him a memory box with some stuff I put together for him. I also made him a really nice card with a heartfelt poem that I wrote. I made him a poem book with pictures I have taken as well. : } I'm doing all this stuff because Valentine's is our first anniversary. ♥

Well, I found this great website that has a lot of ideas that people sent in. A lot of great ideas... cheap, creative, sweet. So if you need other ideas, here ya go:

How about a special dinner of all his favorite foods. Even on a tight budget you should be able to eat. lol Maybe even add candles, flowers and wine. Don't forget the dessert! You could set it up as if you were @ a fancy restaurant. Perhaps you have friends or relatives willing to serve you. It could be fun, romantic and you will never forget it. Take pictures.

If you have a picture of the 2 of you have it enlarged and frame it
in a heart shape card that you made or if you are not talented enough had somebody else make for you. And instead of a verse
put the pleasant memories and your feelings for him in it. them make him a dinner to give it to him
