The threat of WMDs is the same as the little boxes they found, only on a larger scale. It was better to be safe than sorry.

We live in a world with terrorists who ARE CONTINUALLY plotting to blow up bridges and subways. As of yet, no one knows where the 'tip' came from. I have a feeling Mr. Turner was trying to make a political point here. I hope they're fined big time -- ON TOP of what it cost the City of Boston to respond and the people who thought of this little stunt should be jailed.

Kids who call in bomb threats to schools are dealt with seriously! And so should everyone responsible here! Yes! Better safe than sorry.

If you were responsible for the safety and security of the folks in Boston what would you have done? Would you have taken that chance? What if it was something? Homeland Security and the authorities have to make those kind of Tough calls, even if it ties things up. My hats off to the people in charge in Boston. Safety first right???

I commute in Boston and I had to be delayed going to school, and yes I was ticked off, but what if it was a real bomb? I saw the video on it and it was suspicious. I'd rather be safe.

I'm not sure how a box on the interstate relates to Iraq and I'm not sure what you mean by us shutting down Iraq going in.. "Shock and Awe" isn't the same as getting hazmat out to check out something on the interstate.

They did the right thing...but I don't understand your correlation between Boston and Iraq. What did we shut down in Iraq?
