Then will you choose Jordan or Kobe when assuming they are both 23 years old.

you don't take 4 years of college into account for Kobe, he was going to go to duke

and everyone who goes to duke crumbles in the NBA. they just make them soft there or something. Kobe was WAY better off going straight to the NBA and playing under the laker system.

You still take Jordan though, not even close.

Jordan did a little of everything, was the man for his team, and shot the ball much better than Kobe and also played a lot better defense

it's close but MJ would get the nod. However I did take a look at their stats at age 23 and it was close.

Kobe - age 23 points per game 01-02 LAL 25.2
MJ - age 23 points per game 86-87 CHI 37.1

Keep in mind Jordan had no Scottie Pippen in 86-87 and thus did not share the ball with a dominant center like SHAQ as Kobe did in 01-02. In 01-2 SHAQ avg. 27.2 ppg. In 86-87 the second highest scorer on the Bulls was Charles Oakley at 14 ppg. That same year MJ attempted 2,279 shots and made 1,098 while Kobe attempted 1,597 shots and made 749.

Jordan because he couldl amke the team work. In the early years Jordan had a problem with Pipen and John Paxon had a problem with Jordan but they went on to win championships together. Kobe cries and complanies and gets guys traded from Eddie Jones to Shaq. Jordan is much easier and more beneficial to build a team around and obviously the easier pick.

Kobe.
I'll choose Kobe bryant as unbelieveable as this seems to some of you.

Jordan is a great player, one of the best.
But he's still a normal guy, just like Kobe.
You guys made him legendary and unreal, Kobe can do the same things he can.

you cant really choose because every body know jordan because he has won three consecutive championships, and he didnt do it allone he had scotty pipen nobody reconise scotty, am not saying that scotty is better than jordan am just saying that when kobe had shag he was winning, and if the kobe and shag lakere play against jordan and scotty pipen bulls, i think the bull will win, so i think i will pick jordan

depends where Kobe went to college (he is 23 at the draft) and how he performed. imagine kobe with 4 years of Division 1 experience and coach that molded all his potential/talent into a more mature version of black mamba....toss-up.

Any person with an I.Q. higher than 5 would pick Michael Jordan.

im sorry but that question is just dumb, ask me the same question in about 8 years, we'll see what kobe's done, how can you even compare MJ to anybody else?

If I didn't have the option of MJ, I would choose Pete Maravich. Even though he didn't win any titles, his basketball skills revolutionized the game.
