You're starting off on the wrong foot. You want her to trust you so you can go skiing with friends. There's no substance there and certainly no reason to believe you wouldn't be irresponsible after coming back from the trip.

You need to go further. Make a deal with her. I don't know what the deal would be, but explain that to earn her trust you would accept whatever punishment without question if you were irresponsable again. That way she can believe you're not faking it just to go on a trip.

Prove her that you really responsible and don't make your mistakes twice. If you do convince your mother to let you go in this trip, good job. But if you screw up again in the future chances are she wont trust you ever again. So just don't do it for the weekend trip buddy.

You can't convince or force someone to trust you. Trust is earned. You have to show her and prove to her you are trustworthy by being trustworthy.

Just be responsible 1st, then you would have earned her trust. Trust, once broken, is not easy to rebuild. But with patience and more responsibility, it's possible to regain it.

Help around the house, do extra chores, and be on best behavior and talkative. Mom's love that stuff. Trust me, I am one.

Gaining someone's trust don't just come that fast. It's going to take time. You wouldn't be responsible if your trying to make her think you are, when your thinking of yourself.
