It's all about money Hottie. The Dallas Cowboys have cheerleaders because they rake in the big bucks even when they have a lousy season. Da Bears apparently can't afford them, so I'm guessing the owner is a cheapskate or the fans don't spend enough on jerseys or beer at the games to pay for them. P.S.: If that's you in that avatar you should try out for the team wearing the same suit you're wearing in the picture -- I'm sure all the fans would skip the concession stands and bathrooms during halftime to catch YOUR show...

They used to. Back in the 70's they had the Honey Bears. I got to pose with them when I was little.

We have cheerleaders, they are very small and bendy. Actually, they were ditched in the 80's. I believe "organization image" was the dominant phrase in the justification.
