Nope.

Go to http://www.martindale.com and check their rating.

Know this... for that price you won't get much or quality. Start educating yourself about divorce (and custody issues if that will be a part of it) and no matter who you hire to help you, check them out and know your stuff.

Do not ever! trust an attorney to work for you. They work for themselves and whatever fees they can get out of you. Take responsibility and participate and know what's going on at all times.

Research attorneys, talk to people, and interview them before you hire them. If they won't interview, don't use them.

Check with local groups and organizations, or even the bar assocation (last resort; they are a private club, not a true referral or responsible agency). Know what you need to before you hand over what little funds you have.

Good luck.

No! You need to check him or his firm out. Try the sites below. Do research on him, see what kind of rating he has. I woul really know before I spend any money.

sorry to hear you're in this situation. I think this is a good time to work all your contacts and ask friends and relatives if they know of a good, trustworthy lawyer in your area.
