This link may help. It is the route planner for london.
1) travel time takes about 10 min. Plus 10 min walking.
2) 45 min, trains departing every 15min during the day. Calculate about 10 min to buy a ticket and find the platform.
3) depending on time of day.
Sometimes there are problems with the train line and you may be delayed. Check online on the day of travel!

Bad time of day to be trying to do that journey.
Far better to get off the train from Scotland at Peterborough and catch a train direct to Stanstead from there -- about 90 minutes travel -- but you'll save an hour off the journey into London. A direct train at least once an hour, Peterborough to Stanstead Airport.
Your train should reach Peterborough at about 15:00 hours and you should get a train to Stanstead Airport about 15 minutes later. Even if you miss that one there's another an hour later.
Much safer than risking all the variables and confusion of London.

Underground to Liverpool Street takes 10 minutes
Liverpool Street to Stansted 45 minutes
or
Undergound to Tottenham Hale 15 minutes
Tottenham Hale to Stansted 35 minutes
Where are you travelling down from. You might be better to get off at Peterborough or Leicester and catch a direct train to Stansted Airport from there.

Provided that your train is more or less on time, you should have no trouble. Kings Cross to Liverpool Street is about twenty minutes allowing for ticket etc. I hope your luggage is not too heavy as you have a lot of movement to get from one to the other on escalators etc. At Liverpool Street you should have no problem with regular trains. Give yourself about an hour for the journey which gives you plenty of spare time. Wait until you get to Stanstead before getting something to eat.

kings cross to liverpool street takes less than 10 minutes, as long as the line isn't closed for repairs, which seems pretty common on the weekends. the bus takes around 30 minutes. the train from liverpool street takes around 45 minutes to stanstead, and leaves every 15 minutes.

Q1. There is no tube station called '221b Baker Street' it's just called Baker Street and it's on the following lines - Bakerloo, Jubilee, Metropolitan, Circle, and Hammersmith & City. It's in Zone 1 Q2. It was called the tube because the tunnels are simply that - tubes under the ground. Q3. Don't be stupid. These are made up names. If you believed that these were real names then you will have problems. We are not all infantile in this country. Q4. To reach Heathrow from Baker Street you need to take the Bakerloo Line to Piccadilly Circus and then change onto the Piccadilly Line. You could also take the Circle to Paddington and take the Heathrow Express from there but it is more expensive.

You should take a bus to stanstead airport takes about an hour and a half from London Heathrow. If you take the train you will have to take it from Victoria Station which will take longer since you will have to take differant trains.

I'd say give yourself 2 hours to get to the airport train and then another 1 hour to clear it for your flight.
