My limerick book's intro tells me that 'everyone know's the old chestnut "There was a young girl from Peru ..." etc but it only gives the first two lines. I don't know the rest and am intrigued!

There are lots about the young girl from Peru

But I have never heard one about an elephants wang so I will just make you an ending up.

There was a young girl from Peru, who found an elephant's wang in her stew... She took a mouth full or two; and gave a good chew; then threw it all up in the loo.

There was a young woman from Bude, who was arrested on stage in the nude. A man at the front, shouted out "****." Just like that. Right out loud. Isn't that rude?
