my dad always says a childs memory is the best thing about their childhood when they grow up, which i agree on very much, what is your best memory, mine is living in Canada right next to a beach!

When I was 5 and my dad taking me to the park with my bike and taking the stabilisers off and running with me till he let go and off I went on my own and I can still see the smile on his face in my memory, he is long gone only that smile will stay with me forever.
Will be 49 on Saturday so many more years for me to have that memory.

I remember the huge dome like slide at our local park. It was made of the most crude iron and you would have an odd sticky metal residue on your hands if you slid down the firmemans pole inside it. it was such terrific fun, a real late 70's early 80's KIDS PLAYGROUND before they became encased in rubber mats.
Hated leaving the place!

Boxing Day spent at my Nan and Grandad's. They used to have great family parties. It was magical when i was a child. Unfortunately they have both passed on now, a while ago.

Laid in bed with my Mother in the early mornings listening to the men going off to work on the docks ,the post man on his rounds and the milkman,.When Dorothy, next door ,dragged her bike out to go to work, it was time for us to get up
