I remember the commercials (well, some of them) Ivory Soap, Phillip Morris,Brylcreem,Dr. Pepper, Halo Shampoo, Tide.
My Grandmother watching The Hit Parade,Loretta Young Show,and watching, Sky King, My Friend Flicka,Little Lulu, on Saturday mornings, and of course the cereal commercials.

I remember my mom, dad, my brothers and most of the neighborhood, going to my friend Donald's house.
He had the first TV in the neighborhood.
They served popcorn and cool aide. My best guess is 1950. I was 5. It was a huge box with a 7 inch screen.
It was snowy and his dad kept adjusting the antenna.
I don't remember what was on but that day stands out to me more than the moon landing.
