One way to do it is by installing Tor and using it to anonymize your web browsing. The link to the Tor website is below, but if you are on a computer blocked by Smartfilter right now, the Tor website itself may be blocked. So, you might have to download the program elsewhere and then transfer the install file the computer you want to use.
If you can't risk installing software on the computer that you want to use to get around Smartfilter, you can use Circumventor instead. This program actually runs on another unblocked computer. This other computer can be at your home, at a friend's home, at work, or anywhere in the world really, so long as it isn't also blocked. The other computer will get a Circumventor web address, which is what you will type into your browser's address window on the blocked computer. The window that comes up lets you access whatever website you want via the other computer.
