(2sqrt3)^2 means 2*2 * sqrt3*sqrt3

You will get 4*sqrt9, which can simplify to 4*3 or 12.

Then square the sqrt7, which will cause the square and sqrt to cancel each other out, leaving just a 7.

Add the 7 and 12 to get 19.

Sqrt3 =1.73
2Sqrt3= 2*1.73=3.46
(2Sqrt3)^2 = 3.46*3.46=12 (very nearly)

(Sqrt7)^2 = 7

7+12=19
