I like history, and pedagogical matters in general. I think education is great.

However, should we still keep celebrating Black History Month? Personally I have no problem with it, but I wonder if it causes a divide among people...what I mean is that perhaps it drudges up negative feelings and connotations of the ancient (and shameful) past of America. Of course, I am alluding to bondage.

What is your view?

I think we should keep it, and I feel it helps us better to diminished the racism.

i think it should say,because black people were put through alot of years in slavery and for them to have no show or ounce of respect is unfair.I think it symbolizes that balcks and whites should be friends not enemies.
