Ok at least NOW I see where your dislike of Ben Stiller comes from.lol Come on Monitor...... ease up on the Fockers. The cool part about the movie business is that it is diverse... just like our movie going population.
Actors, directors and producers know this. They are the entertainment industry. Their job is to entertain the masses, not just the critics. If the masses seem to enjoy something, they continue it. Personally do I like sequels that go on and on? *shrugs* Depends.... I love Harry Potter. But he's not as much of a little Focker now is he? But the point is..... I know the movie industry is making money along the way. They do their job for the people...... the people reward them. That's how any business industry goes.
I don't like all foods...... but they are created for those that do. I don't like all styles of clothing.... but they are produced for those that desire them. I don't like all music, or books, or cars.... etc. But there will always be things produced that don't appeal to us. That's the cool part of having so many choices. We can go to the movies that DO appeal to us and ignore the others.
Actors, directors and producers want to appeal to as large an audience as possible. So they might do a series of serious films only to then go make a ludicrous one just to mix up their life and have fun along the way too. I'll never fault Ben Stiller for this. I've seen him be brilliant. I've seen him be an idiot. lol The thing is..... he's enjoying what he's doing and people (yes there are people) that enjoy him .
So do we really need more Fockers? What the heck...... if the people want them..... give them all the Fockers they can handle. :)

I've not seen any of the fockers so can't comment but how about mixing Charlie & the Chocolate Factory to get a movie titled;
THE FOCKERS MEET THE WONKERS!

The first one was funny. The second one was kind of funny, but pretty much just a big joke on the word Focker. The third will be worse than the second.

the first one was funny and a hit everyone quoted it for a long time, the 2nd one really kind of blew..it was awful and i didnt like it at all...maybe the 3rd times a charm but i hate it when ppl kill a good thing!

I liked both movies and as long as all the same characters are in the movie I will see it and laugh heartily

I can't stand how Hollywood runs everything into the ground. I probably won't see the 3rd movie. definitely not in the theater.
