Either call everyone up and cancel the board and refund those who paid you, or you'll have to pay for the ones that didn't sell out of your own pocket. i f you decide to cancel you better decide before Saturday so may have time to at least contact those involved. I f you alter the format like suggested in the answer before this, you piss off some people who already paid and some will not understand how the new format works. You don't have enough time to explain this.

Depends on how many are left. A lot of times, if we have 5-10 left, we go back to the players and tell them there are 5-10 left and they will usually buy one or two more.
You could also tell everyone to spread the word outside of work or where ever you are selling from. I have had a lot of people over the years, say AFTER a pool, "Why didn't I know about it?"
Get the word out and you will fill them up fast.
Another thing, if you're asking 20.00 a square, reduce it to 10.00 per square and tell everyone they get another pick.

Only use 55. Each set of numbers occur only once1-2, but not 2-1, plus the doubles. 1-1, 2-2, and so on. This make 55 numbers. They still pay both ways, but with 2 sets of numbers. Enjoy!

The 4 boxes touching that box should win. Make believe the grid is a globe, and the box to the N, S, E, and W automatically win the amount divided by 4. Or you can donate the money to charity.

Block off the squares not filled.....if a blocked off square wins the first quarter, carry the money over to the second quarter, etc. If none of the filled squares wins, all the money goes to the owner of the square whose final score is closest to the winning score.

allow participants to buy more squares until they are all gone. They have to all be used up. If not, an unpicked square could be the winner and then your screwed.
