I bet some people even forgot about Bin Laden. After 9/11 Bush said that he was going to find Bin Laden dead or alive. After some months no one could find him or even knew where he was. So what does Bush do, he bombs Afgan. He still can't find him so he tries to link Bin Laden to Saddam. No one could find weapons of mass destruction and what does Bush do. Starts another war with Iraqi leading to the deaths of many innocent civilians and American soldiers for no reasonable reason. The war in Afgan is still going on but its not reported on the news. I guess you can only cover one war at a time. When Irasel was fighting Lebanon thats all they showed they didnt cover the Iraqi war. Maybe Bush or the government is using Bin Laden as an excuse to try to take over the middle east.

Of course! The whole Bin Laden thing is almost laughable. He is still out there and his cells are getting stronger every day. It is only a matter of time that they mount another offensive against the US. The reasons for going into Iraq were a total cover up to get support of the public (how many times did the 'reason' change). It's all about the oil. In the 90's the US had relations with Sadam, he was doing the same thing then as he did in 2000. So why all of a sudden is he such a bad man, when less than 10 years earlier our 'leaders' were shaking hands with him.

They had positive information about where Bin Laden was more than a few times, but they did not kill / capture him at those points (one camp where he was had kids in it, another time he was falcon hunting with a prince of an allied country of the US.

Be prepared, Bush will find a reason to go into Iran before he leaves office. He will come up with some company line and probably tie it to 9/11 like he has done with everything else.

Bin Laden is a shriveled up old man who proably does not even remember his name by now. Just as other leaders were replaced quickly when eliminated so will he. The hunt is not worth the effort. Taking down the threat from Iran and Syrian agents in Iraq will accomplish much more than chasing around the mountains hunting for Bin Laden.

If you ever saw Fahrenheit 911, it makes sense why we've started to forget what happened to Osama Bin Laden... it's because his family is a royal family and the Bushybushy family and the Bin Laden family are homies. So, if Bush finds Bin Laden and kills him, he knows he'll be in deep **** because the rest of the Bin Laden family will get hella pissed. Sooooo yeah. The war in Iraq is just stupid and now there's really no more point because we've already gotten Saddam (which really wasn't our business to do in the first place even though he was a cruel man)... so why the hell are we still in Iraq????? GAAH

Your question is do you think the Iraqi war is a distraction from Bil Laden. My question is what will getting Bin Laden accomplish? Iraq is the battleground against the terrorists. We are taking the fight to them instead of them coming here thus saving American lives at the cost of maybe giving the Iraqi's a chance at ruling and thinking for themselves.

You're a man after my own heart jason. I've been saying that all along only I say Bush was afraid to pursue Bin Ladin into Pakistan because he's afraid of the nukes. So lets get that mean old Saddam and hope everybody thinks Bin Ladin is dead.

Well, since Bush is a retard, the two have nothing in common. The Iraq war is pointless (I should know my husband is in the military and I work for them too) and BIn Laden has totally been forgotten about.

Bin Laden is no where near Iraq ...true as that may be, terrorism exists in Iraq therefore we had to do what we are doing, its not the best means but its a situation we now have to overcome.
