I am looking for a new western saddle for a good price. I cannot afford to spend $1000 on a saddle right now. Does anyone know of some websites that have quality western saddles for sale? I found a site www.kbsaddlery.com. They seem to have really nice saddles for good prices. Has anyone heard of this brand, and if so, do they make good saddles? Thanks!

Guffey Saddlery
(706) 657-6290
2268 Brow Rd
Trenton, GA 30752

I purchased a guffey barrel saddle from a tack dealer - only $500.00. I love it. it is very comfortable for me and horse. Maybe you can call and see if they have any dealers in your area or maybe if they will deal with you directly.

In most cases - remember you get what you pay for - particularly in foriegn made saddles. In the case of the big names (circle y etc) you are paying for the name too. Sometimes the smaller saddlery companies have quality products but don't charge huge amounts for their products.

Go to state line tack- they have many affordable saddles that are good quality.
When we go to breaking in our 2 year olds we use the Wintec that we got from there. It holds up just fine and is very comfortable.
