what i want to say is that this is SO hypocritical as these people are exremely rich and if they want TRULY to help they can give some money of their immense fortunes and not make concerts for that purpose as in the end you and me are the ones who do the charity

I see what ur saying but at the same time, These singers/bands are giving their time to help other that are in need. They are performing to build up a big amount of money to help other people that needs it, because not everyone make foundations and help poor people, so that is a great idea and way to make money for these people and to help them. A lot of singers and bands DO donate a big amount of THEIR money to charities and for a matter of a fact some actually take trips to certain countries to see how these poor people live like and have an idea of how badly they need the money and they would feel the same as those people feel. For example: angelina jolie and Jay-Z and so many other, Linkin park donated a lot of money as well. They are doing a good thing and they should keep on doing it. REMEMBER: if they really didnt care about those people and about making money to give to charities then why would they waste their time when they could be doing a tour and take the money for them. think about it.

i can see where your coming from. Im sure that the bands give some of their own money or at least i would hope they did.
The price of tickets for some bands on a normal gig is ridiculous like the rolling stones charging £150 for a cheap ticket!!!just rich people getting richer

Then don't go since you obviously can't afford it...

Would you rather buy a ticket and have all the proceeds go to someone who is already rich?? Or get to see a band that you really like and know the money is going to a good cause?
