I think the table/dinner thing is a great idea, if you want to spend the money on it, you'll need it eventually. If not, a sexy picnic set up on the floor with cosy pillows and a pretty throw could be just the thing. For the meal, maybe you could serve something really sexy, that can be made ahead of time, like
Roast Beef with twice baked potatoes or does he like London Broil? The following recipe from Epicurious.com is incredible and he will be licking his lips, I promise.

If he likes beer, get him some sexy imports, he'll appreciate trying some beer he hasn't had before. Serve him wearing an old fashioned frilly apron like they wore in the 40's and 50's; guys love that. Wear high heels , and little else besides the apron.(be prepared to be attacked). Make sure you have lots of candles lit, lights are low, Frank Sinatra playing in the background, your lips are red and your lashes long and full. If he's like many guys, he will be so grateful that you gave him this fun fantasy, even if 50's pin up girl isn't your style. After you've got him all comfy, bring out dessert. My guy loves creme brulee and it is the yummiest and sexyist dessert to make since you have to light it with a flame to make the sugar crust. He will be amazed at your skills...Bed Bath and Beyond has a creme brulee kit that comes with recipes, a blow torch, instructions, and 4 dishes for the creme brulee. Here's the link:

Spoon feed him this incredible stuff and he will be eating out of your hands, literally. Chocolate covered Strawberries in a dish and champagne by the bed next to a framed pic of you in a sexy outfit, or a provocative pose meant just for him. I'll leave the rest to you...

Don't buy anything... you have a bed, right? A sofa?

When men get married, they ALWAYS have a fear in the back of their head that sex is going to go stale and that the wife will get too comfortable and stop making the effort. These occassions are your opportunity to remove any doubts he might have.

That's all you need to give him everything he wants. Wake him up with an oral alarm clock and take it from there... lunch at a strip club... service him in the car on the way home....

If he is the type that would appreciate a table or printer that he really needs, it would be great. He should know what you can afford and shouldn't expect something expensive, or something he would have no use for.

Make a small heart shaped cake for his birthday and put I love you.

Happy Birthday to him. Hope everything turns out great.

Basically what I'm doing is that I'm giving him a memory box with some stuff I put together for him. I also made him a really nice card with a heartfelt poem that I wrote. I made him a poem book with pictures I have taken as well. : } I'm doing all this stuff because Valentine's is our first anniversary. ♥

Well, I found this great website that has a lot of ideas that people sent in. A lot of great ideas... cheap, creative, sweet. So if you need other ideas, here ya go:

good idea definitely. make dessert also... my favorite (valentine's related) dessert is a chocolate cake in the shape of a heart. :]] but that's my opinion. buy something that he likes and get a giftcard or something so he can go out and buy it himself (considering he has everything) and then do the dinner thing. dim the lights and buy some movies to watch. it throws his bday and vday all in one :]]

You know, money can't buy love, be yourself, but, do buy a card at your nearest store.
Either wait for him to reply after you give him your card first.

He may take you out.
