I'm from milwaukee and i think this is the type of city where i might fit in.What do you think?
Oh and i dont like ghetto people please tell me that the cool part of town is far from the slums. Ive dealt with high crime areas and im not down with ignorant people.
Preferably answers from someone who lives there.

try New York City. It is the capitol of jazz. All the best jazz musicians go there. New Orleans is steeped in jazz and blues culture, but for the most part, NYC is better.
Never been to Austin

you better off going to New Orleans they enjoy that music more than anything else. Austin is a party city, techno, rock and rap not really known for jazz and blues
