price for teaching art lessons to children?.....?

I am going to start teaching art lessons to children ages 7-10. There are about 5 kids in the class. i broke it down into 2 courses, drawing then painting. each 18 wks long, but only one day a week for 1.5 hours. how much should i charge?? they provide their own supplies. i have lots of experience, and i have a bfa in art. any ideas????

That sounds like fun, but I don't know how much you should charge. I think it depends on where you are and what the going rate is. You can get an idea by calling some local tutors in your area and then adjusting your price. Don't forget that most tutoring is done one to one, so with a group of 5 you should charge a little less because each child is not getting your undivided attention. Call around some local tutors, arts and crafts places, etc... That should give you an idea.
