A friend and I would like to go do manual labor for a few months. We want to help but cant afford to volunteer. Is there anyone who will help us get jobs, transportation there and housing?

Try spending a little time at NOLA.com. There you will find job listings, and with luck a place to stay. Public transportation in this town is not very good. I know that every restaurant in the Quarter is hiring. Good luck

Go to craig's list .com Find New Orleans it is a site with losts of information on the city and cities throughout the world good luck

Do like most of the Mexicans do here.. They hang around outside the Home
Depot early in the morning looking for contractors who need help... I would be careful... Lots of crime going on down here, too... Not much fun... Mississippi is still in bad shape and needing assistance there... Check with Operation Blessing... Thanks!!!
