I know it is a silly statement.. My husband and I wonder the same thing. They should say you slept like you did before you had a baby.. lol

Well my sis just had a baby girl! and i noticed that when she goes to sleep she looks sudated and very peaceful like a drugged sleep so maybe that's why also in the womb they do sleep non stop

Maybe so, but babies have no worries, no stress, innocent in the "nth" degree. I guess if an adult could sleep without worries(besides a wet diaper or hungry of coarse) he/she could sleep quite well.

I guess it's the idea that babies don't have any worries to keep them awake, although I do agree that it does seem like a strange comparison.

I think it referes to when babies DO sleep, they look so peaceful. Not a care in the world to them.

I think it refers to the notion that babies lead a care-free life compared to adults and thus do not have the worries that keep us awake at night. (Sleep tight!)
