I am near blind trying to cross reference this the old fashion way--via the World Book Encyclopedia --and I can tell you who his parents are born to King Alfonso XII and Maria Christina archduchess of Austria--in 1866--His father died before his birth and so his mother the Queen ran it all till 1902 --during that time Spain lost Cuba Purerto and the Philippines in the Spanish American War--The only time line I can find of Alfonse leaving the country is in April of 1931 when he and the royal family became horribly unpopular when he refused to abdicate formally --and when he and the family left they went to England ---He died in exile in Rome in 1941--So even tho I have danced all over this man and his life I could not find the name of the ship that took him to Malta in 1927--as far as I could see he didn't travel during that time--He is not even listed as one of the explorers--

Not sure only I do know that it was not the Titanic as that went down in 1912 or 1914 the Oceana was the ship that tried to help out with the Titanic so it could, be sorry not great with history
