the crap that they spew on here?

I'm a liberal but do not support abortion or flag-burning. I also have a family full of conservatives and can assure you that they are not warmongers. All the idiots that are spewing hate on here, I hope you don't really believe that crap. If you do, you need some serious therapy. Here's a clue: You don't have to support everything that your party stands for. Politics is choosing who your are most alligned with. I've had to suck it up and deal with Bush for the last six years. Conservatives can suck it up and deal with Congress. But statements like "Liberals Hate America" are just stupid.

From the perspective of an English major, one of the first things I do to look for credability in a writer is to look at the title and then look at the opening and closing line to see how they relate with the subject

Your title states that you are looking for a neutral response but your first line is "I'm a liberal" and the last one is "But statements like "Liberals Hate America" are just stupid."

If I were to grade your question, it would be an F because you are doing nothing but complaining about people spewing their crap by spewing your own crap.

While I agree with you that what is currently happening in our political process is wrong...and stupid, I fear that many on both sides do believe the hate that they are spewing. Remember the one about the big lie? If you tell it often enough, eventually everyone will believe it. That is where I think we are...on both sides of the aisle.

It almost seems that politics has become a "sport" of sorts. And, as we do with our local football, baseball, basketball and hockey teams, we glorify our home town hero's...and demonize their opponents. Their success on the playing field or court, becomes a life or death issue for us. So winning really isn't everything...it is the only thing.

Gone are the days of civilized debate and "agreeing to disagree". Instead, we have the "politics of personal destruction" because, quite frankly, it is easier and doesn't require any thought.

Interesting reply, T.W !

Answer: Unfortunately, they probably do.

I hear ya.

I've been a "pick and choose" voter for years; voting for the man ~ not the party.

I admit in the mid-terms I voted straight ticket for the first time in my life. Jeez. Forgive me, eh.

Yeah, the word "hate" is so overused, it has lost its meaning.

You wonder if these people cook the same way they post here.

One of the great writers said something about even profanity can be effective.....if used in moderation.

I've had about as much "hate" here as I can stomach.

clarify how trickle down takes from the middle type at the same time as the the top10% pay over 70% of the budget. i'm curious as to the way you got here up with that concept? Do you imagine useful people do not artwork flat out? LOL. you understand in case you save repeating something lengthy adequate, people will commence to imagine it really is authentic. Taking 40% of my income by skill of Federal, state and resources taxes and giving it to those who sit round in a do not something authorities interest like we do in long island state works purely tremendous. we've 28% poverty in each upstate city, organizations leaving in droves because the 70's and people like you save balloting themselves the treasury. search for the poverty and corporation climate and then educate to us the way it extremely works properly. i'd be waiting. someone receives the invoice! NYC reaps the benefits and something else of the state is decimated. it really is the area Liberals do not extremely get. the money flows to the sensible in authorities and it comes from each body! i'm so ill and fed up in those who can see the gadget we stay less than and yet proceed to repeat rhetoric. Liberals thieve from us, and Democrats hand it to their friends, and also you overlook about it see you later as you get slightly.
