Don't know what you mean by regular tires but there are several web sites to get tire sizes. Check any major brand tire web site. 17's are somtimes hard to find locally. Be on the lookout for the width of the tire and its outside diameter in comparison to the manufacturer's rated size - what is on the vehicle right now may be different. The width matters because of the wheel and the clearances of the wheel well on the vehicle. The outside diameter matters because of clearance as well but also because of the speedometer and odometer calibrations. Larger tires will cause the speedometer to read low.

IF IT IS A 17 INCH RIM 17 INCH TIRES IS WHAT YOU NEED.
DEPENDING ON WIDTH AND VEHICLES NEEDS WILL DICTATE THE WIDTH OF TIRE NEEDED ( WILL BE IN MILLIMETER)---I.E 225/50/17 FIRST NUMBER IS THE WIDTH, THE SECOND IS ASPECT OR PROFILE THIRD NUMBER IS RIM SIZE.

They just have to be 17" tires so they mount properly. They will show you your choices at the store

Specific brands...no...specific size...yes.
call the dealer and ask them what size or consult your owner's manual.there may be a sticker on one of the door jambs that will indicate what size and what pressure to maintain them at.

yes, a bigger rim will require bigger tires. meaning more money to spend.
