Take that you Neocons. Americans are fed up with your style of government and fear-based mind control. They're standing up for real American values, and they're not going to take any more of Bush's ********. Your time in the spotlight in this country has come to an end, and good riddance.

89%? Where'd they take that poll? San Francisco?

I support the surge because quite frankly we've got to win this war. And i hope it works.Pulling out ..would be a bad move for this country.

First of all, I have to address the first answerer's ("10mm") response and say that, at this point, winning the war is not an option. Instead, it has become a matter of survival. In other words, the fate of Iraq depends solely on how well Iraqis are prepared to rule their own country, how well they have and/or will survive insurgent attacks, and how much longer the US and allied forces can hold up in the foreign nation.

In reponse to your statement, yes Americans are indeed fed up with the current Administrations crap, and want this senseless war to come to a halt!

By the way...are you sure it's 89% of the American public? Believe me, I am totally against the troop surge, but that percentage does seem a bit high.

I'm trusting that the public knows when they're being lied to. Surge is no different than any of the other failed "plans" in Iraq. Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is insane.

no poll says this and at least 1/3 still believe that a surge is the best course of action. Why LIE to make your side sound better? maybe because you hippies need to put done the pipe and get a job
