The only free blacks until the 1830's were the Haitians and NO ONE recognized them as a nation.
When the colonies were freed it was still white rule and Africa...Forget about it...just set free in the late 50's to the 70's.
America...well we all know how that went...killing Americans for exorcising their right to vote and be educated and use public facilities......
SOME were successful though, mostly scientists.

It wasn't, as almost ALL the wonderful inventions we take for granted today were invented by African Americans. It da troof! Just take a look at the list provided at the link below and you'll be amazed at how many of these inventions were invented by blacks in the 1800s. Simply amazing....
