Super Bowl might be televised in other countries, but the truth is no one watches it. I lived in other countries and people don't understand this sport and don't want to either.

I know what I am talking about when I say no one cares or watches football in the countries I been to. All they care about is their national team and football league.

Football is played in Canada. They have a professiona league there (the CFL) with slightly different rules.

It is also played in Mexico, Australia, Germany, the UK, Sweden and I'm sure many other countries.

It is also very popular in the Pacific islands. the NFL has many players from Guam, Samoa, etc.

Let's see here. The Super Bowl is anually broadcast to like 250 countries worldwide in a slew of different languages. I'd say American football is popular enough.

Besides this is America and we don't care about some prettyboy soccer pansies. If America did they would just take over the sport and become the new Brazil on your soccer loving asses.

I think American Football will be popular in other countries in the near future. It will depend on how they will promote and advertise the sport. Having a world championship or world cup is one way. So more people will hear and watch about the sport. Increasing the knowledge of the viewers is another way of making American football popular in other countries. Advertise the sport through TV ads and commercials.

that's fine, 'cause we don't give a damn about soccer either, so it's mutual. football is the greatest sport on earth, we really don't care if no one else likes it.

BTW, pre season games at azteca stadium in mexico city always sell out with over 100,000 fans. that's PRE SEASON. imagine if we awarded them an NFL franchise.

and also, you're full of sh*t. people in other countries DO watch the superbowl. the TV ratings don't lie, pal.
